Nothing beats a mug of hot cider on a cold winter's day. This homemade recipe for mulled apple cider lets you and your kids make your own, infusing it with the flavors of sweet oranges and spicy cloves and cinnamon for a holiday treat.
Ingredients
- 2 oranges
- 60 whole cloves
- 3-1/2 cups water
- 2 (6 ounce) cans frozen apple juice concentrate, thawed
- 4 (2 inch) sticks cinnamon sticks
Cooking Instructions
- Cut each orange into 10 slices. Place 3 cloves into each slice.
- Combine water and apple juice concentrate in a slow cooker. Add orange slices and cinnamon sticks. Cook on HIGH for 25 minutes, or until warm.
