Scrumptious pea pods perfumed with a hint of toasted sesame oil - heavenly! Oh yes, and done in no time flat. Boiling the water is the time consuming part of this recipe.

Ingredients

  • 2 6-ounce packages pea pods
  • ½ teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper

Cooking Instructions

  1. Bring a medium pot of salted water to a boil over high heat. Add pea pods. Let water return to a boil. Cook pea pods 1 to 2 minutes.
  2. Rinse pea pods under cold water to stop them from cooking. Toss with sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
