Salad with Southwestern Salsa Dressing

A green salad topped with a salsa-based dressing and sprinkled with jicama makes for a great side with Southwestern flair.

Ingredients

  • 5-7 ounce bag packaged salad green
  • 1 medium jicama, sliced into batons

Salsa Dressing:

  • ¼ cup prepared salsa
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon milk

 

Cooking Instructions

  1. Toss greens and jicama together to combine.
  2. For dressing: In a small bowl mix salsa, sour cream, and milk to combine.

 

Substitution(s)

An apple can be used instead of a jicama
