Mixed Greens with Dijon Vinaigrette

This tasty toss dresses summer greens in a simple vinaigrette of Dijon mustard, red wine vinegar, olive oil and sugar for a delicate yet delicious side that pairs perfectly with any meal.

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp (50 mL) extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) each Dijon mustard and red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) sugar
  • 1/4 tsp (1 mL) each salt and pepper
  • 8 cups (2 L) torn salad greens

Cooking Instructions

  1. In bowl, whisk together extra-virgin olive oil, Dijon mustard, red wine vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. Add salad greens; toss with dressing to coat.
