Adhere fruit to base:
- spread jam over cookie
- cover cookie with icing and adhere fruit before it dries
Give fruit a finishing sheen, if desired:
- melt a seedless light-colored jam or jellywith a little bit of water
- gently brush melted jam mixture over fruit
