Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons butter, softened
  • 2 slices rye bread
  • 3-4 slices corned beef
  • ½ cup leftover cabbage and apples

 

 

Cooking Instructions

  1. Butter one side of each slice of bread. Place corned beef on the unbuttered side of one of the slices of bread.Top with cabbage and second piece of bread, butter-side up.
  2. In small skillet over medium heat cook sandwich until bread is toasted and corned beef is warmed through.

Substitution(s)

  • Instead of the cabbage and apples cooked cabbage or driained saurkraut can be substituted
