Best Ever Corn Bread

With a few savory additions, such as broccoli, onion and cheese, you can transform store-bought corn bread into an out-of-the-ordinary snack. All you have to do is think outside the box!

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 (8 ounce) package dry corn bread mix
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked chopped broccoli
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted

Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees (175 degrees C). Grease one 8x8-inch square baking pan.
  2. Combine the eggs, corn bread mix, cottage cheese, broccoli, chopped onion, and melted butter or margarine and mix well. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 40 minutes.
