Lime-Marinated Cedar Plank Grilled Salmon Menu

Grilling foods on cedar planks gives them an enticing smoky flavor. In this meal plan, salmon is marinated in a mixture of lime juice, garlic, honey, soy sauce, ginger root and mint and then grilled on cedar. The flavor is exquisite. Simple side dishes, such as spinach salad and mashed potatoes, let the flavor of the fish shine through. Ice cream with strawberries makes an unbeatable dessert.

Top Chef Tip: Look for cedar planks at grilling supply stores or large supermarkets. Soaking the plank in water for 1 to 2 hours keeps it from catching fire while the fish grills.
